Nice to e-meet you and looking forward to sharing some knowledge with you all to prevent injuries. I’m a hands-on physiotherapist at MyLife Rehab and Wellness in Whitby with a unique approach to treating our community. I meet so many folks whose injuries could have been prevented or lessened if they had the right education and guidance early on. My mission is to educate and elevate everyone I meet to understand that our bodies want to be whole, they want to be healthy. Looking forward to see you all!

Sleep & Dreaming
Why we do it and why it’s healthy for us
Over the course of a lifetime, you will spend 72 years asleep and 5 years dreaming. Why do we spend so much time in an unconscious state? Sure, sleep is good for you, but exactly happens when we are sleeping? And do dreams mean anything? In this presentation, Dr. Atkinson will discuss the research on sleep and dreaming, and provide some tips to get a better sleep.
